MEET KELLY!

ARTIST + CREATOR

Kelly Jordan Weiner is a versatile artist known for her work in painting, illustration, graphic design, and hand-lettering.

Her work creates balance through organic, yet abstracted forms. Kelly’s use of a deliberate hard-edge style divides the tension between natural fluidity and blocky concreteness. Each piece is painted with a meticulous attention to detail and an emphasis on color.

Influenced by iconic artists such as Roy Lichtenstein and Vincent Van Gogh, as well as travel, literature, language, and culture, Kelly's work encompasses abstract art, landscape paintings, object art, and most recently portraiture.

Kelly started Studio Pamplemousse in 2012 when she was living in Brooklyn, New York painting and hand lettering murals throughout NYC. Fast forward through a 10 year career in corporate where she worked in visual merchandising and packaging, she realized it was time to rediscover who she was as a fine artist.

In the spring of 2024, her illustrations published in her first children's picture book, Bluemont Tails: Roxy the Hanoverian Horse. In 2022, Kelly launched herself as an artist within her local community where she debuted "Retrospect,” at Dutch’s Sandwich Shop, a collection of paintings from several of her series.

Kelly has exhibited her work in solo and group shows across New York City, New Jersey, and Massachusetts since 2009. Most notably, her 2018 solo exhibition "Inside, Outside" at the New York Public Library's Jefferson Market branch offered viewers a glimpse into her artistry, sparking introspection on both the art and the artist herself.

Kelly holds a B.A. from Fordham University in Art History and Visual Arts. She maintains her studio practice in Montclair, New Jersey, where she lives with her two sweet cats, Toulouse and Ophelia.
